‘Outer Banks’ heads to Morocco in first action-packed season 4 part 2 trailer
Let’s hope the Pogues have their passports up to date, because Outer Banks is heading to Morocco!
The first official trailer for the second half of season 4 is finally here — only days before the remaining five episodes drop on Netflix — and the action-packed footage reveals that John B (Chase Stokes), Sarah (Madelyn Cline), Kiara (Madison Bailey), JJ (Rudy Pankow), Pope (Jonathan Daviss), Cleo (Carlacia Grant), and, shockingly, Rafe (Drew Starkey) are going on another globe-trotting, treasure hunting adventure. The days of the teens just being teens and enjoying life outside of the “G game” are definitely over!
In the first half of season 4, the Pogues built a new home and business for themselves, once again named Poguelandia. But the greedy and petty Kooks didn’t let them enjoy their peace for long, and with Poguelandia under fire, the teens will do whatever it takes to save it. The new trailer reveals that fight will be more difficult than they think, with a town council meeting going sideways, JJ literally lighting it up out of anger, and, oh yeah, let’s not forget those pesky mercenaries are still hot on their tails.
The Pogues are broke, homeless, and once again being chased by killers, so sounds like the perfect time to put all their focus into yet another treasure hunt. JJ’s newly-discovered real father Chandler Groff (J. Anthony Crane) seems to want to help, telling the Pogues the Blue Crown they’re all after is in Morocco. Seems like JJ is handling this new father-son dynamic pretty well…
And that’s not the only surprising family reunion, since Rafe somehow also gets involved to offer his help (for a “cut,” of course!) to get them all to North Africa. Rafe, working with the Pogues? Seriously, what is going on here?! At least JJ punches him in the face for all their troubles before they arrive in Morocco — that was a long time coming.
The footage also teases a lot of boat chases, gunfire, explosions, Pope in prison, Kiara getting kidnapped, and JJ promising to fight for what’s rightfully his — which sounds like he’s accepting his newfound family legacy as the Genrette heir. There’s nothing in the footage about that questionable ghost, though!
It ominously ends with John B promising that they’re going to “get even.” The Pogues have gotten their happy ending before, but can they do it again?
