Sarah Danser, who first competed on Discovery's Naked and Afraid in 2017, died Tuesday after being involved in a car crash on Sunday.

Authorities said speed was a factor, but drugs and alcohol were not.
Danser was hospitalized in critical condition. Two other people involved — the driver and one of the two people in the parked car — were found in serious condition, the outlet reported. The fourth person declined treatment.
The Colorado native, who had lived in Hawaii for 12 years, died Tuesday.

She used her skills on the Discovery adventure series, in which competitors are challenged to survive in extreme environments without food, water, or clothing, but one survival item. Danser also appeared on its spin-off, Naked and Afraid XL. In 2023, she was part of the cast of the CW's competition Fight to Survive, according to IMDb.
