Liam Gallagher Didn’t Love that SNL Oasis Sketch

Liam Gallagher was less than enthused about the Weekend Update sketch about him and his brother on last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live. Starring Sarah Sherman as Liam and James Austin as his brother Noel, the sketch made fun of the brothers’ decades-long feud and the recently announced Oasis reunion tour. The sketch goofed that the feud started when Liam told the Spice Girls that Noel had a “crooked knob,” and that their beef was squashed when they realized they have the same fave Sex and the City boyfriend (Steve). Possibly in response to the sketch, possibly just as a fun thing to tweet into the void, Gallagher wrote “I see the LYING SAUCES are at it again have a day off you BUMBACLARTS.” When a fan asked if he’d seen the Update piece, Gallagher quipped “Are they meant to be comedians.” As far as Liam Gallagher burns, we’ve seen way worse.
