“I spent 12 years playing that role, and it really set off my career. I owe a lot to that character, to that show, to Lester Fabian Brathwaite Chuck Lorre,” Cuoco said. “It was some of the best years of my life, and some of the most fun I’ve ever had.”

Created by Lorre and Bill Prady,The Big Bang Theory ran from 2007 to 2019, focusing on nerdy roommates Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) and their circle of friends, including Cuoco’s waitress–aspiring actress Penny.

When asked if she’d be open to stepping back into Penny’s shoes, Cuoco responded, “100 percent.”

“I would absolutely reprise that role,” she said. “I love that character, and I always will.”
