Is the fifth time the charm? A Star Is Born is no stranger to being remade, but if we had to cast anyone to play the leads, we would give Cristin Milioti and Andy Samberg a call. In conversation with Interview Magazine, the two remember belting out “Shallow” while on the set of Palm Springs. “I will never reach as good as we sounded,” Milioti reminisced. “I was just at karaoke and someone was singing ‘Shallow’” and I took a video for you, and then I was like, ‘Does he need another video from me of someone screaming, ‘Shallow’?’” But who sang as Lady Gaga and belted it as Bradley Cooper? “We really switched on and off. It depended on the mood of the day,” she reminded Samberg when he asked who sang which part. They already got the chemistry and singing down, maybe Broadway could use a new adaptation.
