Saturday Night Live cast member Chloe Fineman is offering a peek behind the curtain on what it takes for her to play more well-endowed characters.

“I’m at work right now and we’re filming something,” she began in a video she shared Friday on Instagram. “I don’t know if you know this about me, but I’m pretty flat-chested. Ya know, I, I’ve got a little bit but, um, if I have to play somebody with, like, actual tits and the cutlets aren’t enough, we go here.”

The camera then zoomed out to show Fineman topless, with a pair of large breasts.

“We have this, like, breast thing that we do. Right now they’re, like, a little uneven cause I was laying down in a weird position, but, anyway, another day at the office,” the comedian said of the prosthetic.

Fineman attributed her “rack” to Louie Zakarian, the SNL makeup artist who’s worked on the show since 1999. He’s won an entire shelf of Emmys, for his work on shows hosted by Betty White, Justin Timberlake, Tina Fey, and more. In all, Zakarian has taken home 10 awards, including one in 2024 for the Ryan Gosling-hosted episode that featured that Beavis and Butthead sketch.

The Megalopolis actress revealed that her transformation had been seen up close by at least one other person — unwittingly.

“An intern just knocked on the door, and I thought it was a friend, and I opened the door fully like this,” Fineman said, “and I was like, ‘Hey!'”

Along with Fineman and the rest of the cast, this week’s episode will be fronted by Charli XCX, who will serve double duty as host and musical guest.

Earlier this week, Fineman made a different reveal on social media, admitting that Space X founder Elon Musk, who’s advising President-elect Donald Trump on government efficiency, was the unnamed celebrity host Bowen Yang previously said made cast members cry.

Fineman said Musk made her “burst into tears,” because of his reaction to a sketch she had “stayed up all night” to write when he hosted in May 2021.

“I was so excited,” she said in a now-deleted TikTok, “I came in, I asked if you had any questions and you stared at me like you were firing me from Tesla and were like, ‘It’s not funny.'”

Musk responded unapologetically to the SNL performer’s revelation. “I was worried,” he wrote on X. “I was like damn my SNL appearance is going to be so f—ing unfunny that it will make a crackhead sober!!”
