Oh what a celebration we'll have today! Er, tonight that is.

Ariana Grande prepared for New Year's Eve with a carousel of photos on Instagram to mark the year that was. The roundup included a photo of her in a leotard in what appears to be a Wicked dance rehearsal, a video clip of her and Wicked costar Cynthia Erivo performing "When You Believe" at the Met Gala, and more.

"A year full of art and heart!" she captioned the carousel. "thank you eternally for your love and support, words truly don’t suffice. i love you always and am wishing you all a very happy new year!"

Though Grande shared photos of her shoot for "The Boy Is Mine," in which she dresses as Catwoman, the images predominantly focused on Wicked. There is a shot of her in a blue ballgown, hugging a group of people, which is possibly from her final day of shooting the two films earlier this year. She also shared images of her and Erivo embracing Michelle Yeoh, and a shot of her and a blurry Ethan Slater (the couple met making Wicked ) behind Jeff Goldblum taking a selfie.

"The original Broadway cast recording was my lifeline growing up," Grande previously told Entertainment Weekly. "And that was deeply intertwined in my DNA my whole life. It was always something that brought me great comfort and happiness."

In addition to wrapping production on Wicked, releasing her seventh album, Eternal Sunshine, and earning raves for her performance as Glinda, Grande also returned to Saturday Night Live to host for her second time. The photos also showcase her hugging Wicked costar and SNL cast member, Bowen Yang, wearing their costumes from a Moulin Rouge! themed sketch. She also featured a photo of herself, sans wig, as Italian castrati Antonio from another sketch.

Grande's 2025 could be just as big as her 2024. The performer is earning awards buzz, including speculation that she could secure an Oscar nomination, for her work in Wicked. Additionally, the second part of Wicked, now subtitled, For Good, is set to hit theaters on Nov. 21, which will surely mean another global press tour.
