Amanda Bynes says she’s using Only Fans to connect with her supporters.

“I’m on onlyfans now!” she posted Tuesday on an Instagram Stories video. “Disclaimer: I’m doing onlyfans to chat with my fans through dm’s. I won’t be posting any sleazy content. Excited to join.” The message came with a selfie.

OnlyFans, which offers subscriber-only content and is often thought of as a place for sexual content, has attracted celebrities such as Denise Richards, Cardi B, Kate Nash, and Lily Allen of late.

As for Bynes, she also attracted attention in January, when she showed up at a 50 Cent concert in Las Vegas, and in December, when she cohosted an art show and clothing pop-up with designer Austin Babbitt in West Hollywood, Calif. Bynes, who graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, created pieces for the show.

Her former The Amanda Show costar Drake Bell also sang her praises last month.

“She may as well have been Rachel on Friends,” Bell said on the Good Guys podcast. “She was the biggest thing on the planet to me.”

Amanda Bynes announced her new OnlyFans account on Instagram.

He said she was a delight to work with on The Amanda Show.

“She was great then, she remains great, and such a good person,” he said. “Obviously has had some public struggles, but I just think she’s got one of the great hearts and great skills, great talents of anyone there is.”

Public appearances by Bynes have been rare in the years since she stopped acting. Bynes had worked since she was a child on shows such as All That and What I Like About You. She also starred in movies including She’s the Man, What a Girl Wants, Hairspray, and Easy A, which she did in 2010 before retiring from acting.

Beginning in her teen years, Bynes struggled with substance abuse, and she was placed in a conservatorship from 2013 to 2022.
