The Jonas Brothers Are Coming Home (to Disney) for Christmas

Are you a “Sucker” for a homecoming story? The JoBros are hoping so. Disney alums Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas have announced that they are releasing a Christmas comedy movie on Disney+. The brothers and bandmates held up signs in a Love, Actually-themed video that confirmed that the movie is set to drop during the 2025 holiday season. Sure, it’s only January, but they want to give us plenty of notice. Per Variety, the film’s logline teases a plot where the brothers will “face a series of escalating obstacles as they struggle to make it from London to New York in time to spend Christmas with their families.”

This Is Us co-showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger are writing the project for Disney Branded Television and Disney’s 20th Television, and they will also produce alongside the Jonas Brothers, Adam Fishbach, Spencer Berman, and Scott Morgan. Quiz Lady director Jessica Yu will helm the project, which Grammy nominee Justin Tranter is writing original songs for. The movie’s working title is Jonas Brothers Christmas Movie … which is about as creative as the title of the trio’s last album, The Album.
