2025 Oscar nominations: See the full list (updating live)

2025 Oscar nominations morning has arrived, but the question remains: Who will defy gravity, triumph at the papal conclave, or harvest a bit of gold alongside their Arrakian spice at the 97th Academy Awards?
Beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET/5:30 a.m. PT — following several delays amid the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires — the first round of 2025 Oscar nominations will be announced live on Good Morning America, as well as the Academy’s social platforms, YouTube channel, and on the ABC News Live, Disney+, and Hulu services. The second half of nominations will continue at approximately 8:41 a.m. ET/5:41 a.m. PT. Watch Wicked and Saturday Night Live star Bowen Yang and Bottoms and Saturday Night actress Rachel Sennott announce the nominees below.
Likely contenders set to be nominated this year after a crowded awards season race include Best Actress frontrunner Demi Moore (The Substance), Ralph Fiennes (Conclave), likely Best Supporting Actress winner Zoe Saldaña (Emilia Pérez), Timothée Chalamet (A Complete Unknown), Kieran Culkin (A Real Pain), Wicked duo Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, and trans trailblazer Karla Sofía Gascón, who will become the first trans woman nominated for Best Actress if she earns a nod for her work in Emilia Pérez.
Also vying for Oscars gold are top Best Picture contenders like Conclave, Anora, The Brutalist, and the aforementioned Emilia Pérez and Wicked — all of which emerged as strong likely nominees throughout the 2024-25 awards race.

Before the 2025 Oscar nominations announcement, the Academy revealed a handful of industry staples for its honorary honors, including the late musician Quincy Jones and casting professional Juliet Taylor. The Jean Hearsholt Humanitarian Award will go to Richard Curtis, while the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award will go to the James Bond series’ Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.
The 2025 Oscars telecast — with Conan O’Brien as host — airs Sunday, March 2 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on ABC and Hulu, with the official red carpet presentation beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT.
