Christopher Walken isn’t fiddling around with the TV remote and trying to figure out how to type a long and complicated password using the arrow keys. He’s making Apple TV+ walk to the mail box to send him DVD copies of Severance. Not even Blu-rays, Apple? Walken explained to Andy Cohen on his Sirus XM show that he hadn’t seen all of the episodes of the show due to technical errors. He’s missing out on the innies and the outies of Lumon. “I don’t have the equipment, so they’re good enough to send me DVDs,” he said to a puzzled Cohen. It makes sense that Lumon supports physical media. “Oh, they do? Okay. Do you have an Apple TV+ subscription?” Cohen asked. What if he’s secretly a Netflix guy? Or maybe he’s watching himself in Dune 2 on Max. “I don’t have anything,” Walken confessed. Next season’s wrap gift should be an Apple TV streaming box. Or if we’re sticking with discs, a gift card to the Criterion Collection.
