The 2010 ROLEX 24 Hours of LeMans endurance challenge was won by a prototype-class Audi #9 from North America completing 5,410 km and 397 laps breaking the former distance record set in 1971. The winning team was driven by Mike Rockenfeller, Romain Dumas and Timo Bernhard, followed by two more Audi's in second and third
The GT1 winner was the #50 Saleen followed by the # 72 Corvette and #52 Aston Martin.
The GT2 winner was the # 77 Porsche, followed for the #89 Ferrari and the #97 Porsche.
In total 27 of the 56 entries managed to complete the grueling 78th running of this historic 24 hour race, including two Ferrari F430 GT's which finished 2nd and 4th in the GT2 class.
