news1103_02.jpg On Saturday, November 8, the Interush Racing Team will once again race with professional NASCAR driver and multi-talented extreme athlete, Stanton Barrett. This will be in the NASCAR Nationwide Series 200 mile (320 km) race at the Phoenix International Raceway in Phoenix, Arizona.

Barrett and his crew started to prepare for the Phoenix race car right after last week's race in Texas. "As a Speedway Racer I always look forward to each and every one of the races. Right now I am focused on how we well we qualify in Phoenix on Saturday morning, which determines where we will start the race that same afternoon." said Stanton Barrett. "We get a few hours of practice on the track to fine tune the car's performance where just hundredths of a second can make a big difference in starting position."

Already the 2008 race year has been very successful for Stanton Barrett, earning 2,244 points which currently ranks him in 23rd position among 154 registered NASCAR drivers, which classifies him in the top 15% of all drivers! Moreover, he has already won over $637,000 for this season, which pushes him up to 21st place in earnings. This is the greatest winnings he has ever obtained for a single season, with two more races to go. Considering that the leading driver, Clint Bowyer has won $973,000 after 33 of 35 races complete, Barrett's achievement is quite significant.

After Barrett welcomed Ricky Pearson as his new crew chief, he and his crew staff have continued to improve the team work and vehicle's condition. Therefore, it will surely be another exciting race for the Interush Racing Team!

"It has been a long season that started in Daytona, in February - which is wearing both physically and mentally. I am really looking forward to strong finishes in the last two races to complete what has been a very positive race season for our team" Barrett said. He continued, "then I get a few weeks off to prepare for 2009 and what I expect will be the most exciting racing season of my career…"

Surely there is more exciting news to follow.
